How to Open Your 2011 Acura RL Key Fob and Change Battery

Before beginning open key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver and CR2025 batteries.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your RL's remote key fob
A button battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Spin the remote key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to open your key with flat head screwdriver. Replace two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
