Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A small coin cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Open key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to disassemble your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
