How to Replace the Battery in a 2011 Audi RS7 Key Fob

Keyless entry remote allow easy access to your Audi. Once the remote key fob battery is discharged you will lose your keyless entry fob's ability to control remote opportunities. In this case, you will benefit from knowing how to open Audi remote key fob and change a weak battery yourself. If you decide to do it at home near RS7, follow our instruction, but first make sure you have all you need before you start.
What type battery remote key fob use
Prior to disassembly key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed small coin battery. Open the key if it is in the remote key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
