Simple steps to change the battery in your Journey's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the remote key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
