Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to pry apart your key with pry tools. Change 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
