2011 Ford Fiesta Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Keyless entry remote grant access to your auto. When the key battery is weak or dead you will lose your fob’s ability to control distance opening function. In this post, we walks you through how to disassembly your car keyless entry remote and change your Ford key battery step by step.
What kind of battery keyless entry remote require
Before starting disassembly remote key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and one CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed small button battery. Gently try to open your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be installed with the same position as was an old. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
