Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A tiny coin cell battery installed in the your remote key fob. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to disassemble your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all working fine by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
