2011 Jaguar XJ Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions
If your XJ key isn't working well, the cell battery more likely must to be changed. Below, we described how to disassembly your remote key fob and change your Jaguar key battery step by step.
What type battery key fob requireDon't forget before open keyless entry remote check all that you need: CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.

Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your fob with pry tools. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
