How to Replace the Battery in a 2011 Kia Sorento Key Fob

If your car keyless entry remote is not open doors perfectly, the cell battery likely needs to be changed. It's not difficult to replace the battery in your key fob by yourself. All tools, that you need is described in this post.

Changing battery in keyless entry remote require 1xCR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Delicately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all working fine by testing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
