Simple steps to change the battery in your LS 460's keyless entry remote
A small button battery installed in the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace one CR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
