Step by step instruction
A small coin battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to pry apart your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
