How to Replace the Battery in a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder Key Fob

Before beginning open keyless entry remote check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and one CR2025 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same position as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
