Replacing battery in remote key fob require CR1620 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- 1xCR1620 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your Tribeca's key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Delicately try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s body. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
