How to Replace the Battery in a 2011 Subaru WRX STI Key Fob

What is the battery key fob use
Before you start to open remote key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: CR2025 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your WRX STI's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small coin cell battery. Gently try to pry apart your remote key fob with pry tools. Change one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all working properly by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
