How to Replace the Battery in a 2011 Volkswagen GTI Key Fob

Replacing battery in key fob require 1xCR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step guide
A tiny coin battery installed in the your key fob. Open key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to open your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your key body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
