Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A button battery installed in the your remote key fob. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to pry apart your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
