How to Replace the Battery in a 2011 Volvo C30 Key Fob

Before beginning disassembly keyless entry remote be sure that you have all required tools and materials: one CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed small coin battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s body. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
