Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
A small coin battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Flip the keyless entry remote over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to open your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR1616. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
