How to Replace the Battery in a 2012 Audi S5 Key Fob
If your S5 key fob is no longer unlock doors well, the battery probably needs to be changed. In this post, we explained how to open your key fob and replace your Audi key battery.
What is the battery key fob useBefore starting open remote key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.

Simple steps to change the battery in your S5's remote key fob
A small coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Open key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
