2012 Audi S7 Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

What type battery key fob require
Before you start to open keyless entry remote make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: one CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your S7's key fob
A coin battery installed inside the your key fob. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to disassemble your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
