2012 Chrysler 200 Convertible Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Before beginning open remote key fob check all that you need: 1 CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A tiny coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
