Step by step guide
A tiny button cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote. Unscrew the back of the remote key fob. Flip the key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
