How to Open Your 2012 Ford E-250 Key Fob and Change Battery

Before going to disassembly key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A small coin cell battery installed in the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
