Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to pry apart your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
