How to Replace the Battery in a 2012 Honda Accord Key Fob

What is the battery remote key fob require
Changing battery in keyless entry remote require phillips head screwdriver, 1 CR1616 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- 1xCR1616 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to open your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR1616. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
