2012 Honda CR-Z Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Before you start to disassembly key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver and one CR1616 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
A tiny coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Remove screw on the back of the key fob. Spin the remote key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR1616. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
