Before starting disassembly keyless entry remote be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: phillips head screwdriver, one CR1616 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR1616 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button cell battery. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Remove one CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR1616. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
