Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Replace 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you place battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
