Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Replace two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new batteries installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
