Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A tiny coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
