Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A button battery installed in the your key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Delicately try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
