How to Open Your 2012 Nissan Titan Key Fob and Change Battery

Before you start to disassembly keyless entry remote check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2025 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2025 battery
Simple steps to change the battery in your Titan's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed small button cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
