Replacing battery in keyless entry remote require flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your Cayenne's keyless entry remote
Inside of your key fob installed coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
