Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button battery. Carefully try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR1620. Battery must be installed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
