Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to open your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s case. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
