How to Open Your 2013 Acura MDX Key Fob & Change Battery

What is the battery key fob require
Before starting disassembly remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver, CR1616 battery and phillips head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Flip the key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to disassemble your remote key fob with pry tools. Change 1xCR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be installed with the same position as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
