Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A small coin cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Open the key if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
