Step by step instruction
A button battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob. Remove screw on the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to pry apart your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s body. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
