How to Open Your 2013 GMC Savana Key Fob & Change Battery

Step by step instruction
A small coin battery installed in the your remote key fob. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
