How to Open Your 2013 Honda Fit Key Fob & Change Battery

What kind of battery keyless entry remote require
Before going to open keyless entry remote check all that you need: flat head screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver and two CR2032 batteries.- 2xCR2032 batteries

Simple steps to change the battery in your Fit's remote key fob
A button battery installed in the your remote key fob. Unscrew the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the remote key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace two CR2032 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that everything working properly by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
