Before beginning disassembly remote key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver, CR2025 battery and phillips head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A tiny coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Unscrew the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the keyless entry remote over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
