How to Replace the Battery in a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Key Fob
Key fob grant easy access to your car. Once the remote key fob battery is weak or dead you lose your keyless entry fob's ability to control distance opportunities. In this article, we are going to tell you how to open your remote key fob and replace a dead battery yourself. What is the battery remote key fob use
Before going to open remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Step by step instruction
A coin cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to open your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that everything working properly by testing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
