Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Accurately try to disassemble your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
