Simple steps to replace the battery in your MKS's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to disassemble your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s case. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
