Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A button battery installed in the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to pry apart your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
