How to Open Your 2013 Mazda 6 Key Fob and Change Battery
If your auto keyless entry remote is no longer open doors well, the cell battery more likely needs to be replaced. In this post, we described how to open your car remote key fob and change your Mazda key battery.
What is the battery remote key fob require
Before starting open key fob be sure that you have all required tools and materials: CR2025 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2025 battery
Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to open your key with pry tools. Change one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
