How to Open Your 2013 Mazda CX-5 Key Fob and Change Battery

What type battery remote key fob require
Before beginning open keyless entry remote make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2025 battery.- 1xCR2025 battery

Step by step guide
A small button battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s case. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
