2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

What kind of battery key fob require
Replacing battery in keyless entry remote require 1 CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step guide
A small button cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
