Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A tiny coin battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Carefully try to open your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR1620. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
