Step by step guide
A coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Delicately try to open your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Change 1 CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s shell. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
